**PASSER-BY's--FRIENDS--FAMILY--FOES--PLEASE READ **

I do intend to become more active here, honestly! College just consumes my time, theres quite a bit of procrastinating and homework to be done. Currently I have an epic piece that Im working on (talking at least 30 hours of work, and lots of learning to be done on the way) in order to properly usher in my new tablet.

As much as I know that piece wont be done for at least a month or two, I do want to start thinking about what epic take-a-lot-of-time-and-learn-bunches-art I can make next. I also would love to expand my music collection!

Thats where you come in!

90% of the time when I think of art, I think of music. Music that portrays an image, sends a message, or just draws you in to a story. Most of what I draw nobody sees takes a more realistic fantasy angle. My favorite thing to do is draw an image that pops into my head from a song that I like or that connects with me. I'd say 75% of all ideas Ive ever thought to draw have been from songs, and Im sure most of you do the same.


What Im asking of you

Just post a comment on this journal of a song that you either like, think has rich imagery, or has a good overall thought to it. I want to expand my tiny music collection so please suggest music that isnt terribly mainstream (Black eyed peas, lady gaga, Miley Cirus, etc) I also listen to Alt Rock & Rock on a regular basis, so only suggest that if theres nothing else you can think of. Im looking for a challange here so make it the best!

than not it has no artistry. I dont care if
that Jay-z song was on, or about your disco stick.

I do appreciate foreign music, some of it is
really amazing actually, but it isnt going
to help me when I have to read it through a
translator to know whats going on.
·ut your best foot forward
If you dont care than sure, spout out a crappy
song everyone knows, but if you can, try to challenge
me by suggesting a song that isnt played on the
radio 5 times a day for a month.

To limit the time I have to spend listening
to music, and to challenge you to think
of only the best songs, only two per person
please!

This journal will remain for a couple months. Anyone that wishes to participate, I thank you for your time. If you think a song is borderline, then just suggest it. Remember Im looking for a challenge! The song should have a meaning! If you suggest a good song that I use for inspiration, I will note you, and maybe even show my gratitude with a free sub if I can afford to. (that doesnt mean this is a contest!)
